join an existing group

Joining an existing wishhh.com group is easy.

1. Send your account number and security code to the existing group's administrator; and
2. The administrator will enter that information into that group's 'Add Existing Member' page.

And, presto! You'll be a member of that group. Here's how to do it:

Step 1. Finding your account number and security code

If you just joined wishhh.com, you will be given the option to join a group or add a group. To join a group, click on the green 'join group' button pictured below.

If you are already a member of a wishhh.com group and wishhh to join another, click on the 'Groups' pull-down menu (click on the the down arrow) in the blue bar across the top of wishhh.com, and select the 'Join Existing Group' option as depicted below:

Either way, you will be presented with this 'Join Existing Group' page. On that page you will find your Account Number and six digit Security Code, circled in red below:

Cut and paste the account number and security code into an email and fire it off to the group's administrator. You might also want to point the administrator to the 'add existing member' help/tour page for more information.

Or, if you have an email client installed on your PC, you can click the yellow envelope icon depicted above to generate an email requesting the admin add you into an existing group. The automatically-generated email will look something like this:

Step 2. Administrator enters your data

The administrator of the group you wishhh to join must do step 2 to complete the process. Step 2 is covered in the 'add existing member' help/tour page.

Once done, the newly joined group will appear in the left column of every wishhh.com page when you are logged in. In the case of our fictional Jane Smith, here's how her left column looks after she was added into the fictional 'SciFi Book Club' group:

Jane can click on each of the names to see each person's wishhhes, grant wishhhes, suggest wishhhes for them etc. Jane can also click on the group's name in the left column to bring up the group's information page.
